A story

Hi followers! Today I would like to tell a story very intriguing that I read some time ago.
If I remember rightly,  this happened to a man that live in Japan. The man lived alone in his house, because he was independent recently.
Shortly after starting to live alone, he felt a bit uncomfortable in the house. He said that sometimes he lacked food but that it wasn't because he didn't have money to buy, there was a much stranger reason: the food disappeared...
This was very stranger because he didn't invite people to house and he wasn't sleepwalker, but anyway he decided to install safery cameras in the kitchen to find out if wasn't a sleepwalker and to make sure that this situation wasn't a paranormal event.
Like every day, he went to sleep but this time with cameras installed waiting for it to was tomorrow to see the recording.
Great was his surpreice and his fear, when he learned that what was made his food disappear, wasn't himself or a paranormal event or an animal... In the video, he saw that a woman took out food from to the freezer and the partry and she took her to the attic, where she hid and practically lived.
The man lived with a unknown woman for much time inadvertently!
He called fastly to the police to give notice of this woman and authorities believe she may could have more hiding places in other houses...

Imagine that someone unknown was living in your same house for so long? It's very disturbing D:

Post number nine

Hi followers! Today I want to talk about an interesting animal for me.
I really like dogs! they are man's best friends, they are very cute and funny, but now I will not talk about them.
Another animals that I like are the wolfs :)
Wolves are very interesting animal because they have a mysterious essence and a way to organize and lead large herds in dangerous times, although they can travel alone and to return to her herds. The leader of the herd are in general old or sick wolves because they value your experience and knowledge and all the group walk at the speed of them. They howl under the moon without some reason apparent...
The wolves have a habitat generalist and can live in desert, grassland, forests and artic tundra. Habitat use by wolves is strongly correlated with the abundance of prey, snow conditions, absence or low densities, road densities, human presence and topography.
They have a teeth are heavy and large, being better suited to crushing bone than those of other extant canids and can exert a crushing pressure of perhaps 10,340 kPa... It's very strong!
Although wolves primarily feed on medium to large sized ungulates, they aren't fussy eaters. Smaller sized animals that may supplement the diet of wolves include marmots, hares, foxes, mice, hamsters among other.
Why did I refer to dogs initially? Because some people say that the dogs was wolves that they let themselves be domesticated :o It's very amazing!

Summer vacations

Hi my followers! today I will talk about my plans to do this summer.

In really I don't think so much in my vacations, because I will continue still  in classes at the university until 18th January. The last summer I worked during a one and a half month and I earned a lot of money, so that I had time and money to go for one month of vacations. Now is impossible, because I will not have time for work :(

Despite this, I tried to save money to travel because there are places that I've always wanted to visit and I hope I can in this summer. 
Principally I would like to visit the south of Chile, because it has very beautiful natural landspaces, and even if I know some places, but there will always be some that I have never been able to visit. Among the places I want to visit in this summer are Radal Siete Tazas, Villarrica, Lican Ray and Huilo Huilo with my boyfriend. We will try to travel by car, to be able to know more places <3
Another thing I would like to do in this vacations it's to dedicate a little more time to my family... To travel by the day to the beach or Cajón del Maipo, go to parks and I to pass time with they.
Also I will dedicate time for me, to be able to draw, read, train, to make handcraft (earring, braceletes and other things).
I need the vacations, to be able to scape of the high temperatures of Santiago and the stress by the university ):

A photograph that you like

Hi friends!
I really like the photographs, because are full of memories :) I like the old photographs of the old cameras, those that you must "reveal" from a photographic roll and this it's one of those.
In the photograph, I was in Viña del Mar, specifically in "The flower's clock". I was with my brother and my twin sister in a family outing.
In spite of having only 3-4 years, I remember a lot of that exit. This picture was taken by my mom a cloudy summer day. We had gone to visit an aunt (my dad's sister) during a weekend. She was going to show us her new apartment in the center of Valparaíso, but also we were to visit nearby tourist places.
I remember that we shouldn't pass the protection gate of the flower clock, because is in a protected area although in those years there wasn't as much safeguard as there is now. It's fot that reason (and because my mom wanted haha) that we have a picture inside the clock.
In really I love the photos in which I appear with my brothers <3

Skills

Hi everyone! To talk about this topic, I was thinking for a while about the skills that interest me or that I admire in  other people.

One of the skills I have developed in my life is having a good memory. In my family, they said me "agenda" because I was remember many dates, important information, addresses, birthdays  and others things that weren't very relevant haha!

But there is a skill that I have always admired... The physical abilities.

I always see many people who can walk with their hands, run great distances, withstand a lot of force, who are very skilled with a ball (soccer, basketball or any other sports) and is very amazing!
Having good physical skills helps you maintain a good lifestyle, makes you feel safery with yourself, allows you to do activities that distract you and to want to improve them become healthly personal challenges.

I like develop my physical habilities in many areas, for example, I practice sport regularly such as basketball, handball and aerobox. Also I dance and I go to the gym in campus Juan Gomez Millas.

In really I do all this to improve my force, my concentration, my fine motor, to have good reflexes and distract me in my free times. Which is very beneficial for my mental health.

I always have to allocate time to the sport because it is my escape and my relax to all the load that studies architecture gives me :c

My dream job (Fifth post)

Hi followers! In the next blog I will talk about my dream job.
It's difficult to imagine a specific area because I like many things, but there is a work area that I like a lot: the construction.
Many times, I look forward to working in the field, in building work.
In really, I wouldn't like to stay in an office, because I like travel so much, move, walk... Always I must be in move!
All my life I could see my dad working in constructions in my house and other places and always I liked to help him in differents tasks. I was like to see how he built and the perfectionist that was. Also I was like so much to see how were built my toys (cars, doll's bike) and furniture (closet, shelves, desk, among others). I armed and disarmed them many times until I discovered how all the pieces worked together.
I believe that I have never thought about dedicating myself to anything other than an area related to architecture and construction. That's why I'm studying architecture, hoping to choose contruction electives.
I would like a job in which I should supervise works, investigate structures, materials, travel and get to know building, constructive systems in other places, to be able to learn many things that my dad taught me and that I didn't understand before and to know much about this.
I know that I would be very happy working in the construction area :)

Fourth post

Hello everyone! Today I can talk about friends. 

I think that a friend is a person  in which one puts all the confidence and with whom have you shared part of you life. Notwithstanding the above doesn't mean that you and your friends should be together all the time. The important thing is that among you, understand and know that even if they don't see each other physically, they are still there for each other.

Personally, I will talk with the many people, because I like to generate ties with other people that I see daily but I don't call "friend" anyone.

In really, I have a hard time having confidence to tell my personal things because I speak with everything to my twin sister so many times I don't need to tell things to another person.

In the school, I had a group of friends with whom we went out to eat, to parties and we helped each other in school chores, but some of them had problems with my sister and I stopped talking with them, because my sister is my best friend. I think it was for better haha.

In spite of this bad experience, in the FAU I have known many people who understand me which is very important because my free time is few for my career. Although we are all in the same situation haha. So see us little and help us a lot is the most important thing :)

Third blog post

Hi my followers! This day I will talk about my favourite piece of technology.
Thinking seriously, my favourite object is the headphones, because I like listen to music all day and they are easy to transport.
I use them everyday. I love to listen to rock songs, heavy metal, indie, love song, etc. Also,  I use them for to listen the songs in a cell phone game called "Song Pop" in which I have to guess songs listening to part of them. It is fun! because I love the music and the headphones would let me to listen to music anywhere.
I feel that cheer up my trip and my days :)
I remember that I had headphones that I used for three years. They never stopped working because I always took care of them but I lost them somewhere in my house when I started the university </3. After of they, I haven't had others headphones of such good quality as those.

Headphones are the best piece of technology because I can to listen to music in my long travel to the university and I disconnect from the world.

Second blog post

Hello! This year, I went to a concert in Teatro Cariola, located in San Diego Street. This concert was on April 15. With my boyfriend, we went to see José Madero, because he I was part of a rock band that we loved it, but he separated in 2016 and now he is a soloist. José Madero, called Pepe, is a Mexican singer who was born in September 1980. His musical career started when he was 18 years old. 

In the concert, the people gathered and pushed to see the artist up close, despite that the place was spacious. Anyway, the public in general enjoyed the musical show.

The truth is that I haven't gone to many concert, because my favourite artists have separated, don't come to Chile and some are already dead :( For this reasons, I enjoyed so much the concert, also I love Pepe's character, because he is very funny, charismatic and a good singer that now combinate two musical styles: rock and romantic ballads.

A freak fact respect this day, was that the guards at the entrance took away me my fork, because "I could to stab someone". Anyhow, they gave it back to me at the end of the concert haha!

First blog post

When I was a children, I always dreamed of travelling for the world and to know many countries, but there a special country that I would like to know. This country is Italia. Italia have many thing that I want to visit. I would like to visit Rome, because I love the old history in this zone and I want to see the architecture that is still standing. Also, I would like to visit Venecia because is a very amazing city. Is totally different at the traditional cities. Its a surrounded by water!

The first thing that I would do is walk for all Rome (or some places haha) for I can to see all the constructions and urban weft. I would also visit stadiums because I like football haha. After, I would stay in Venecia to relax myself, to walk by the street cities but go with calm and to travel in Góndolas.

In really, I just would visit Rome for a short time, in vacations, but I would live in Venecia for a long time, because it's a peaceful place and I want to learn how they make the bases of their buildings under water, because that I remember is that they use wood but I would to know how this material resist.

Post 10: Some reflections

Hello everyone! In this finally post I will talk about how it has been this year.
In truth, this year has been quite long, due to the time of "paro" that there was in the faculty. I could say that that is the only bad thing, because it lengthened the semester more than it should.
I must admit that the good things of the year have been many. I have done well academically, the subjects I am studying haven't been complicated since I am with nice teachers and I have managed to improve some friendship relationships that I thought couldn't be solved :)

Of the specific things that I have been able to rescue from this year, there have been two specific situations with my boyfriend and my summer vacations. In the summer I worked in Mall Plaza Egaña selling shoes for children and in Jumbo Costanera selling school articles, which were nice experiences, since I made many friends with whom I maintain contact until today <3.

Together my boyfriend, we went to José Madero's concert in mid-April, which was a nice experience, because he is the most "apañador" in the world and I love sharing his tastes. We also take advantage of a long weekend to go to the beach and rest a bit from the university.

I hope this year remains calm and attracting good things, for me and for everyone who is reading this post (:

Post 9: My favourite music

Hello my followers! Today I want to talk about a topic that I like a lot, which is talking about music.
I try to keep it present in everything in my life and there are few times in the day where I am not listening to something. I always listen to music, when I'm traveling, at home, studying, practicing sports, among other moments :)

In general I like to listen song of rock (in Spanish and English), heavy metal, thrash metal and its derivatives, but I also listen to many ballads, romantic songs, some youth pop (for example, Maroon 5, Justin Timberlake, Bruno Mars) and many more... I listen a little bit of everything because in my family they also listen a little bit of everything haha!

About my favourite bands, these are System of a Down <3, Linkin Park, PXNDX, and Tronic. During the day I should listen to at least one song from each of these groups haha!

S.O.A.D came to Chile in 2015 to a festival "Santiago Gets Lourder", but I couldn't go to your concert because I didn't have money :( 

Linkin Park came to Chile frequently but never I went to a concert and I will not be able to because his vocalist died last year </3

PXNDX was a band that I listened with my boyfriend because we both liked but they separeted in 2015-2016. With my boyfriend, this year we went to the concert of the vocalist of the band that is now a soloist, José Madero.

Finally, Tronic is a Chilean band that I love so much. I went to concert in 2017 with my friend Cristi <3 

The music is life!!

Post 8: A Subject you've enjoyed studying this semester

Hi everyone!

Always I had been thinking that by to study any career, shouldn't like you all the subjects, because is natural that you like one more than others.
In my case, can be that I like  much the subjects about urbanism, but had bad experiences with some teachers... I really didn't like the way in that they taught. Haha!

In spite of how difficult the "structure and construction" subject can be ... I love it!

In this semester, I had the subject of "Design and materialization" and it's very interesting :) During class, teachers are concerned that everyone learns well the subject that is being taught. In addition, they are well organized. It is known by all that one day we will talk about construction, another day of structure and another day of installation in buildings.
For now, we have seen material about concrete, construction processes on site and very recently, we started to see the characteristics of steel.
I like this subject because I don't find it so difficult to learn the contents taught by teachers and also my father, being a master builder (I love my daddy <3), has always kept me informed about materials, construction systems, properties, among others, so that It seems very fun to learn how each material works, know them well and optimize their use.
It may be the most difficult subject in the career, but by taking a little sweetie, it doesn't become tedious :)

Post 7: Career-Related Website

Hello my followers! In this post I will talk about a website that I see frequently. In these almost three years of career, I have realized that I really like urbanism and despite having sometimes good or bad teachers, I try to read, inform and learn in different ways, such as watching web pages.
Often I see "Plataforma urbana" (http://www.plataformaurbana.cl/) that is a website where they share news about public spaces, citizen participation, urban projects, interviews, sustainability, smart cities, public transport, among others. Besides being a page that informs about the national scenario under these themes of urbanism and improvement of cities, I like it a lot mainly because of the slogan with which they identify:
"We believe in a City that values the public space and the identity of its neighborhoods, that promotes contact between its citizens, that respects its history and looks with hope on the future." 
This slogan is what I hope to adapt in the future to be able to project better spaces for people, with people, giving them a better quality of life.
Actually I see this site about 1 or 2 times a week, usually on my own and not because I am obliged to do it haha!

Post 6: Video Games

Hi everyone!
After so much thinking and search in my memory, I realized that I have played many videogames in my life, for example: Mario Bros, Mario Kart, K.O.F., K.I., Crash Bandicoot, Smash Bros, Final Fantasy, The Leyend Of Zelda, etc. But the one I liked the most was Final Fantasy VIII, a role- playing video game for the PlayStation console,  although I played it in PC.
This game like me because is the first game that I played alone. All the other games I played with my sister, my brother and my cousins.
I don't remember exactly when I played this game, but must have made in 2011.
FFVIII I knew it because my brother played it. This game is very long, have 4 CD's that you must complete. Consists of three main modes of play: the world map, the field map, and the battle screen, in addition to conflicts of friendship, romantics, family and interlaced stories. It's very amazing <3
Other game that i would like play is Until Dawn but I don't have this console haha! and I would like play again The Leyend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, because is my second favourite game <3.
The games of adventure are the best! :)

Post 5: A photograph you like

Hi everyone! the post of today is about a photograph that I like. 

In general, I like to take photographs to the sky, specially when darkness fall or sunrise, because the sky shows many colors before dark (in case of dusk) or clean (in case of sunrise) completely. For some reason, to see this "phenomenon" it makes me happy and calm.

This photograph is one among many others that I have taken, but is specially for me, because was taken in a particular day, where I had gone wrong with a job and was very angry. I had decided to go alone to my house and I walked out of the university to a place that always caught my attention, because I can see the sky without buildings. Never had I seen the sky like this day and it was something natural that I was pleased in some way in a bad day. 

There are always good things within the bad :)

Post 4: Tv shows and Series

Hello everyone! Today I will speak about tv shows that I like it.

In general, I do not see to much TV, because I use my free time in other activities such as read, make artisan handmade, practice sport, take a walk, etc. Actually, I watch TV to see football, basketball, the simpsons, notices and one that other movie, but when I was a girl, my biggest distraction was television, especially music programs and cartoons.

I liked American cartoons, but I loved anime very much. I liked anime like Tantei Gakuen Q, Fullmetal Alchemist, Nube, Shaman King, Orphen, HxH, The Prince of Tennis, Supercampeones, Pokemon, Digimon, Inuyasha, Ghost Stories, Dragon Ball, among others.

The first five I named, are my favorite and I have searched for them online now to see them again: D!

I like to see anime because I've always seen it with my twin sister and my older brother. Also, they have many themes of which I am more interested such as policial, sport and adventure.

If I think about the series of these times, I would like to see the Black Mirror and finish watching The Flash and Arrow (I'm too bad to follow long series haha)

Post 3: My favourite piece of technology

Hello everyone! Now I will write about when is my favourite piece of technology. After to such thinking, I decided on the headphones.
The headphones are an object to listen to music principally. The first headphones that I had, was when I was 10 years old and although its useful life is short, I always buy new ones... I can't spend a day without them!
In general, I use the headphones with my cellphone to listen to music during the long trip to the university because i took me an hour to arrive.
I use them everyday. I love to listen song of rock, heavy metal, indie, etc. I feel that cheer up my trip and my days :)
I like to use the headphones because it get disconnect often of the world and the hectic lifestyle of the city and my weekly routine.
I believe that my life will be very bored if not exist the headphones because I use them a good portion of the day, although I think that probably I would read in my free times if not exist the headphones.

Post 2: Why did you choose this career/study programme?

Hello everyone! In fact, always I wanted study something associated with building area. My father has worked in building area all his life, so I was always interested. I liked civil construction for mathematics and structural. But after so much thinking and don't see me only with calculations, I decided to see more options, choosing architecture because it included history, mathematics and drawing that i love it!
My first year of university was very difficult because I was in a place without my twin sister and I saw little my family. Gradually, I got used to the times of the university and I can occupy free time in sports, visit my boyfriend, be with my family and friends. I also spend time studying and every year I have better academic results and that makes me very happy! :)
In the university, I've done good friends what makes my stay in that place pleasant.
I would like to work in a municipality, in the department of public works or any place where I work in the public and urban area. Another option could be supervise fieldwork and to travel ... travel a lot!

Post 1: My auto biography

Hi!  my name is Jessica Pérez. I'm 20 years.I was born in June 11 in 1997, in Santiago, Chile and I've always lived here.
  I studied in small school all the primary (HNJ, Private School 224, La Reina) and high school (Augusto D'Halmar, Ñuñoa) before I entered university, specifically in University of Chile in 2016.
  In University, I study architecture because I like the construction and design and also because I like draw and urban behaviour.
  My parents are Alberto Pérez and Ines Cifuentes. My father is a master of construction and my mother is housewife. I have a brother and two sister. They are Daniela, Sebastian and Catalina and they are  34, 27 and 20 years old. I also have a dog called Max. He is the cute dog.
Catalina is my twin sister and is a very amazing! She is my sister and my best friend.
  I usually study, visit my boyfriend and practice sport in my free time. I like practice basketball with my friends nearby my house and also practice aerobox with my mom.
  I was guitar player but the sport and study was so time-consuming. I would like come back play the guitar.

How safe is to give your personal information on websites such as facebook, my space and any others? What’s the limit for you?

In my opinion, give information on websites, can be dangerous when not taken privacy measures that give the social networks. Some websites allow to hide information as cellphones numbers, accounts, address, etc. But, despite these tools are given, is better to avoid personal information in case of system failure and "hackers" obtain information for dangerous purposes.
